The Annual General Meeting of the Australian Society of Rheology will be held on the evening of Wednesday, 06 July 2016 in Melbourne. Please mark this date in your calendars now, with the event to kick off at 17:30. We welcome you to attend the meeting and dinner, and you are sure to have a great time. As part of the AGM, Council is seeking nominations for council membership. Please contact a Council member promptly to discuss this beforehand if you are interested. Council members will be elected at the AGM. ASR members who are not able to attend in person can vote by proxy. Refer to the ASR's rules, provided under the Members Only section.
The organisers of Chemeca 2013 have announced that rheology has been added as one of the official conference themes. Abstracts by online submission are due by 2013-04-26 17:30. See also the ASR's Conferences page.
On Thursday the 16th of May, 2013, the next instalment of our seminar series will be held at RMIT University (City campus), Melbourne, which will comprise lectures from Dr. Franco Costa (Autodesk/Moldflow) and Dr. Predrag Micic (Qenos).

The ASR congratulates Ph.D. student Miss. Hui-En Teo, who was awarded the 2012 Howard See Young Rheologist Travel Award. This was announced publicly preceding our most recent seminar, in Clayton, and the certificate and cheque were presented in a brief ceremony.
